1. Overview & 100% On-Device Commitment
Wind Disposable Camera ("Wind", "we", "us") is built with an absolute commitment to user privacy. We believe your memories, photographs, and camera usage belong strictly on your personal device.
Wind does not upload, transmit, or store your photographs on external servers or cloud storage. All digital chemical emulation, optical grain shaders, date stamping, and photo rendering occur 100% locally on your device GPU.
2. Camera & Photo Library Access
- Camera Permission: Wind requests camera hardware access solely to capture live frames for the optical viewfinder and photograph exposures.
- Photo Library Access: Wind requests photo album access solely to export your developed 27-shot rolls into your device's native camera roll upon lab development.
- GPS & Location Data: Wind automatically strips all GPS coordinates and location metadata from your photos before saving them.
3. Advertisements & Monetization
Wind uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to provide an ad-funded free tier for roll loading and darkroom development:
- Zero Ads While Shooting: Capturing photographs is 100% ad-free.
- Rewarded Video Ads: User-initiated rewarded video ads may be displayed when loading new rolls or developing after the free trial is exhausted.
- Consent Management: We comply with GDPR (EU), UK privacy regulations, and US State Privacy laws via Google UMP consent forms. You can modify your ad privacy choices at any time in the app's Settings menu.
4. In-App Purchases (IAP)
Transactions for consumable roll packs and Pro subscriptions are processed securely by Apple App Store (StoreKit) and Google Play Billing. Wind does not collect or store your payment details.
